Some Unexpected Visitors
  Spotted recently in Whitland: wild turkeys!  Have you seen these large strutting birds around the hood?  While we're thrilled that wildlife is drawn to our land of creekside and lush trees, please note that wild turkeys can be hard on lawns and gardens.  So if they're going after your property, you may want to shoo them away.  Also, since they're not the sharpest of birds, if they wander into your back yard, they may have no idea how to get out. Turkey GPS may be required!
