Neighbors gathered together on a Sunday afternoon in October to enjoy some great chili and cornbread and witness the dedication of the first granite bench installed in the neighborhood by the Whitland Area Neighborhood Association.

The association chose to honor Pat & Dan Burton for their longstanding support of our neighborhood and for their generosity and hard work, particularly when the community is welcomed with open arms each year at the 4th of July on Whitland celebration.

The granite bench is inscribed and the Burtons were grateful and honored by this gift. Enjoy a few pictures from the lovely day in October!
