Ice Cream Social

Greetings, Neighbors!

WANA has organized an Ice Cream Social night where we hope folks will gather to purchase a treat from Bradley s Creamery . This food truck loves visiting our amazing neighborhood, so let s show them our love!

As kids are starting back to school, let s celebrate and beat the heat. In conjunction with the ice cream truck setup on Monday, Aug. 15 th (5:30 7:30) , we hope you ll consider donating school supplies to benefit MNPS and DG PENCIL Box. Help Stock the PENCIL Box! Attached to this email you will find our event flyer and the current most wanted list for teachers supplied by PENCIL Box. To read more about this organization, including an Amazon link directly to the supplies requested, use the links below.

So, come out for a sweet treat and bring any new school supplies you wish to donate to a fantastic cause. We ll have collection bins near the truck at the corner of Carden & Whitland as well as an envelope if you d like to donate money; all supplies will be delivered to PENCIL Box later in the week. Any funds received from you will be used to purchase additional items on the most wanted list to stock the store where Metro teachers shop for FREE. Thank you advance for your generosity!

Nashville's longest running outdoor movie series, Movies in the Park is now in it's 31st season! So, grab a blanket and bring your family and friends (human or furry!) to Elmington Park on Thursday nights in June for a FREE movie night! While you wait for the movie to start, take part in games and giveaways and grab snacks from our delicious array of local food trucks! And let's not forget about the main event—a movie screening under the stars! All films are family-friendly and will be shown in open caption, so everyone can enjoy the show!
