Holiday Celebration/Party

Where : Right here at the Carden Bridge

When : Sunday, December 12th at 3:30 pm

What : A family gathering to enjoy holiday cheer together over some warm winter beverages with fire pits and S mores.

Mark your calendars for a week from this Sunday, December 12th at 3:30 pm for this year s WANA Holiday Party. Due to the pandemic and possible risks we have decided to have an outdoor gathering at Mary Catherine Strobel Park at the end of Carden at the bridge at 3:30 on the 12th. Since outside we hope to observe some reasonable social distancing and fresh air should help mitigate risks. WANA will provide a couple of fire pits blazing, all of the makings for S mores, and we will have a variety of warm/hot drinks including hot chocolate, hot cider, and an adult hot toddy for those over 21 that choose an adult beverage. This is a full family event so bring the kids, get a S more or two, and enjoy a warm drink while celebrating the season with other WANA folks. Hopefully the weather will comply, the Titans will be finished with a victory, and in the event of dangerous weather we will address on the 11th or 12th. WANA assumes it will be a chilly day so dress accordingly.

So, grab a blanket and bring your family and friends (human or furry!) to Elmington Park on Thursday nights in June for a FREE movie night! While you wait for the movie to start, take part in games and giveaways and grab snacks from our delicious array of local food trucks! And let's not forget about the main event—a movie screening under the stars! All films are family-friendly and will be shown in open caption, so everyone can enjoy the show!
